Background:

Casco Manufacturing Solutions specializes in contract manufacturing for sewn, R-F sealed, and upholstered soft goods for top customers diverse industries including Government Contracts, HealthCare, Outdoors, and Equestrian Specialty Products. CEO Melissa Mangold heard Judy Bradt speak at the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council’s National Conference and Business Fair. “You gave me more than information,” she said. You gave me hope.”

Issues:

The company had multiple product lines of potential interest to Federal customers. Past performance included a comprehensive line of healthcare products and some highly specialized products (lithium hydroxide curtains) for the United States Navy. However, Casco had had limited success in growing their Federal business.

Results:

Casco Manufacturing Solutions has adopted the methods and processes they learned through Strategy-in-a-Day and Implementation Support to get noticed by Federal decision-makers.
