Grow Fed Biz

I help established government contractors think more clearly about Federal growth — before the cost of being wrong gets expensive.

Most companies don’t struggle in Federal markets because they lack effort, intelligence, or capability.
They struggle because they’re making decisions in noisy conditions — reacting to opportunity lists, chasing volume, or investing in tools and tactics before they’ve clarified what actually matters.

My work is about slowing that moment down — just enough — to restore judgment.

Federal contracting isn’t hard because it’s complex.
It’s hard because it punishes unfocused decisions over time.

Wrong bets compound consequences.
Misaligned pursuits drain confidence — and resources.
Activity creates motion — but not always progress.

I work with leaders who sense this — who feel the drag — and want a better way to decide where to focus, who to engage, and what not to pursue.

Who I serve

I work with owners, executives, and senior BD leaders at established businesses who are serious about Federal growth — and increasingly uneasy about how much effort it’s taking to get traction.

You don’t need motivation.
You need clarity.

This work is not for beginners, and it’s not a tactics manual, template library, or shortcut to Federal contracts.

I don’t start with tools, opportunity lists, or tactics.
I start with judgment.

Together, we clarify where focus matters most — which agencies and buyers are worth engaging, where trust can realistically be built, and which pursuits are not worth the cost.

From there, strategy becomes simpler.
And execution starts to make sense again.

You already know relationships matter in Federal business.

What’s harder is knowing where to invest — which buyers are actually reachable, which conversations will change how you’re perceived, and which efforts quietly drain time and credibility.

Most established contractors don’t need more activity.
They need fewer wrong moves.

The work usually begins when leaders realize that effort and results have drifted out of alignment — that the cost of being wrong about focus, partners, or pursuits is getting higher.

My role is to help slow that moment down just enough to restore judgment — so the next decisions compound in the right direction.

Federal growth gets harder when the cost of a wrong decision goes up.

At a certain stage, effort alone stops working. More bids, more activity, and more tools don’t reduce risk — they increase it.

My work with you exists to help leaders recognize that moment, regain judgment, and make fewer, better decisions about where to focus, who to engage, and what not to pursue.

About Judy Bradt

I’m Judy Bradt.

I’ve spent more than three decades working in and around Federal contracting — alongside business owners, capture and BD leaders, and agency stakeholders navigating complex missions, high stakes, and imperfect information.

Over time, I’ve seen how effort, tools, and good intentions can still lead smart teams into the wrong decisions — and how clarity, focus, and restraint change outcomes long before a bid is written.

Today, my work with you centers on helping experienced leaders slow things down just enough to restore judgment — so fewer wrong moves compound, and more decisions move the business in the right direction.
